CBSE Board Class 10th / 12th Examination 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Attendance Requirement
Students must have a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible for appearing in the board exams. In cases like medical emergencies or participation in national/international events, schools may allow relaxation based on valid documents. - Passing Marks
To pass, a student must secure at least 33% marks in each subject. For subjects with practical components, students must get 33% separately in theory and practical. - Internal Assessments
Students should secure a grade higher than ‘E’ in internal assessments. Failure to meet this may result in the withholding of final results. - Compartment Exams
Students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for compartment exams, which are likely to be held in July or August 2025. - Subject Selection
Subjects must be finalized during List of Candidates (LOC) submission. Changes are generally not allowed after LOC is submitted.
